Dodgeball is one of my favorite sports. The joy of hitting people with soft or rubber balls is one of the joys of life. Dodgeball is a game of ajility and strength without any of these you are doomed in a dodgeball game. This game is a very fun sport or activity/game it is amusing and also shows who has more skill by aiming, throwing, dodgeing, and catching
Dodgeball is played mostly in the USA most schools play this game in classes like P.E. Dodge ball is also played in competitions with a team or in tournaments to see wich group is better. It is not a very famous "sport" but no dought that it is a sport. Many have played it but still the majority hasent there are a few groups not much but hey as long as someone plays it.
TO play dodgeball you must have two even teams its best to pick out two teams from a group. Then you set up all the balls in the middle of the feild or gym you are playing in. You all get to the back and wait until the ref says go then you run and try to get some of the dodgeballs. Now you have to try to hit people to get them out and dodge any balls thrown at you, if you hit someone they are out they now have to wait in a line they can go back in when someone catches a ball only one person per ball catched. The game is won when the other team is completly wiped out.
Dodgeball's history is pretty much unknown its best origin is someone who made up a game that was loved and spread not rapidly but very slowly. The game must have spread slowly to freinds and then they told there freinds and so on until people liked it exept nobody knew exactly on where it came from. The estimate on where it came from was from Augustus Hagerson who invented the game in 1832. The game soon became a sport and was played In febuary 2010 the worlds bigest dodgeball game was played.
