The Tech N9ne Experience

Aaron Dontez Yates Tech N9ne a man who as a child was extricated from the outside world. His house hold was a strict catholic home in which became a large peice of techs lyrical creativity as well as his demented flow. These two elements and his lightening fast enunciation mix to be a perfect example of Hardcore rap. Influenced by groups such as N.W.A., Public Enemy, Boogie Down Productions, and Soulsonic Force. This also was influence to his being a writer, as a teen Aaron often showcase his skills at school which caught attention.







After Aarons 17th birthday he moved to Kansas City, Missouri With his aunt. At this point tech gained freedom that he, as a child never had, which soon led to dealing crack. Soon then after Aaron attended a rap convention with a friend which made the first big impact on tech and becoming a rapper.The second effort was that, already accomplished M.C.'s like LL Cool J, Tone Loc and King T, asurring Aaron of his talent. Some time later tech was signed to Perspective Records,a lable that mounths later went bankrupt.

At this time in techs carrer, he was bounced around from lable to lable but in his free time, he rapped in a group called Nnutt Howze. Tech created his image, he started painting up his face with crucifixion symbols and also droped his second album Angellic. This album was not only the very definition of hardcore rap but it was "Tech absorbed all the shit he had taken in the past few years and spit them back in an assault of dark."

It was 2001, Tech after a concert met a man named Travis O’Guin that proposed a deal that tech co-own a lable with him called Strange Music. Tech recorded 6 more albums on it including, Absolute Power,Vintage Tech, Everready, Misery Loves Kompany, Killer and Sickoligy 101.
